So, I'm finally posting the WIP that I've been working on with Theirwholebohemiansoul for a long time. It is so good to finally be getting feedback on this monster, which has been occupying much of my time for a long time. The fic is almost complete now (it's 8 chapters long and Bohemiansoul is working on chapter 8), so we will be posting chapters as they are beta'd and edited. I have thought there should be a "Eurus made them do it" fic since I first saw TFP. I know I'm not the only one who thought that. If you've always wanted to read a fic where Eurus makes Sherlock choose to have sex with either Mycroft or John rather than kill one of them, you have the opportunity now. Link to AO3.

gaaaaaaaaah this is so me, except as usual I check out the tags on your story and get scared lol. I'm really glad you're putting stories like this out in the world, even if I don't have the fortitude to read them!

I remember you wrote a crack version of this premise for me. It's one of the things that inspired me to put this baby out into the world. I always feel weird about tagging things because I feel like tags make the fic look worse than it actually is. I mean, yes, it is a dark story, but it's mostly about what happens after and how Mycroft and Sherlock cope and recover and move on? And it does have a happy ending. Anyway I understand if you want to stay away though.

Sadly, that's just the problem for me. If it were just a rape scene or whatever, I could read over it or skim through my fingers... But it's the coping and processing and dealing with the aftermath that is grueling for me. Especially with stuff like eating disorders and self harm... I have to be really careful how much of that stuff I let in my head.

It's a shame because I think of myself as someone who enjoys angst and dark stuff in fiction... But the stuff I am drawn to is just a few degrees off from what you write, and that just happens to put almost all of it in my no-go zone. :/

Ah, that makes sense. Yes, this does focus a lot on Mycroft self-harming in the aftermath until he figures out how to ask for help. This is the part which is cathartic for me, but I can totes see how it would be very distressing for others.
