Wow. Um. So, if anyone wants to gift me anything. I'm really craving for some good post S4 Mycroft/Sherlock fic. I really wanted to see Mycroft get taken care of post S4, and I've mostly been reading Mystrade for that just because there's more of it, but Holmecest is really my preferred pairing when it comes to Mycroft, there's just not much of it. I just want something really angsty and focusing on the trauma inherent in the idea that Mycroft thought Sherlock was going to kill him, and Sherlock at least contemplated that choice. Like, what does that mean to them? I've also been curious about fic where Sherlock actually kills Mycroft. That would also be fascinating.

Fanart. Really for anything, but especially for Fraterfamilias, in particular more scenes from Jim's Ice Queen story. I've envisioned an illustration for each chapter, and I've commissioned a piece for the last one, but I'd love to get more art for that, preferably in that same black and white, woodcut kind of style.

For someone to flesh out Keep Calm and Cary On. I love Zombie!Apocalypse fic but I lack the skill to write one. I just love the idea of like, a World War Z (the book, not the movie) fusion, with stories from Mycroft's POV while he's like, directing everything from a bunker or aircraft carrier or w/e, maybe some vigniettes of John and Sherlock working on the ground during the crisis. I guess I should just go re-read Coins on My Eyes by indybaggins . But I want more!

Yeah, much as I disliked the fact that s4 made everyone horrible, I think it also created some very interesting horrible things that open a lot of challenging ground to fic. So far, post-s4 fic has mostly either been fix-it or rolling back to s1-2 canon, but I'm hoping that the long game in fic will start taking up some more of these openings. I wish I thought I could do justice to writing some of these post-4 ideas, but my strength lies more in collaboration/editing, so, sadly, I can't do much to move them forward no matter how much I really want to read them.

The closest I've come to what I'm looking for is a series called Anatomy by eloquated. In that fic, Eurus kills Mycroft at Sherrinford, and then we see the aftermath. Not quite the same as Sherlock killing Mycroft, but it still explores his grief at losing his brother.

I don't know that I feel like S4 made everyone horrible so much as I feel like it made John horrible. I agree there is lots of fertile ground here to explore, and I'm mostly interested in S4 fic that explores it; I'm not really into fics that are S1/S2 canon divergent. Though I did just write an S2 fic myself, lol. But yeah I'm most interested in reading writers that are exploring S4 and post-S4.
