Introduction

So, since everyone seems to be leaving the sinking ship that is tumblr, I'm experimenting with other platforms. You can also find me as Anarfea on twitter, pillowfort.io, and AO3.

I'm mostly a fanfic writer, an occasional meta writer, and general BBC Sherlock and Black Sails fandom person.

I also plan on doing some personal journaling because the privacy features make me feel safer posting about personal shit than on tumblr.

Hi! I think the privacy features will be so wonderful for actually getting to post thoughts. It's not as flashy as Tumblr, but there is something very nice about getting to easily communicate with people and actually get to know folks :-)

I don't know that I'll use it, but I signed up on mastodon just so nobody else could get my username.

Kind of exciting to see people (including me) thinking about returning to LJ style of social network interaction!
