So I've decided to start doing daily card meditations. The first one does not exactly bode well.Ruin

Ten of swords is not a happy card. One could argue it's one of the "worst" cards in the deck, if the cards can said to be good or bad. Ruin represents Malkuth, the lowest position on the tree of life, in the world of Yetzirah, or the intellect. It's intellect at it's lowest level. A loss of energy. It's also Sol in Gemini, which is not a great place for Sol to be. The swords are arranged like the tree of life, and the sword that should occupy position six, Tiphereth, the place of the sun, is shattered. This represents the ruin of all plains, catastrophe, failure. Can be a literal physical death (and is much more likely to mean death than the actual Death card.

In short, not happy. The only good news here is that tens have fallen to the bottom of the tree of life and lost all energy. They quickly become something else.
